Purpose of the Registration Guide
The purpose of the Schedule of Classes (SOC) Registration Guide is to provide information resources to enroll in classes successfully each term; advise you of current deadlines, registration system features, enrollment requirements and effective practices; and summarize academic policies pertaining to enrollment.

- Weekday classes begin Tuesday, January 19
- Saturday classes begin January 23

- October 28, 2009: Spring 2010 Registration Access Mailer sent to new, eligible students only. Continuing students, see the Semester Bulletin.
- November 2: Spring 2010 first-time freshman academic advisement/registration begins.
- November 9 - December 9: Spring 2010 Registration-by-Appointment (repeating courses is not permitted)
- November 11: Veterans' Day holiday; all offices closed; no instruction
- November 25: Student Services Center closes at 5:00 p.m. (eve of Thanksgiving recess)
- November 26-27: Thanksgiving Recess; all offices closed; no instruction; no Saturday class November 29
- December 10, 2009 - January 18, 2010: Spring 2010 Nonrestrictive Registration (no appointment needed; repeating courses is not permitted)
- December 25, 2009 - January 1, 2010: Winter Recess; all offices closed; no instruction
- January 18, 2010: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day; all offices closed; no instruction. Last day to DROP all classes and qualify for a full refund (minus $10).
- January 19 - February 5: Spring 2010 Late Registration (by permission only) and Schedule Adjustment (Weeks 1-3). Registration in repeated classes is permitted.
