Educational Therapy Certificate
The Educational Therapy Certificate Program is designed for post-Masters students who wish to combine educational and therapeutic approaches for evaluation, remediation, case management, and communication/advocacy on behalf of children, adolescents and adults with learning disabilities or learning problems. The certificate program aligns with the Association of Educational Therapists (AET) course requirements for the associate level of membership. In addition, up to 100 of AET’s required supervisory hours are met by an internship, the culminating experience in the program. It is anticipated that the ET certificate program will provide exemplary preparation for Educational Therapists to serve students with special needs in clinical and other settings, helping them reach their full potential.
